Main navigation overview

A brief overview of the most important navigation elements in the Solar Expert:

• Project List: all relevant projects and info at a glance
• Library: all components, templates, and pricing structure in one place
• Activities: overview of scheduled activities
• Account Settings: edit your account info and log out
• Settings: mainly company‑wide settings for admins

Create a new project

• Create directly within Solar Expert—ideal for incoming phone enquiries
• Project templates work like sample proposals, saving you from adding each component individually

Projects from Solar Calculator requests

• A customer request automatically creates a project
• All customer data from the Calculator (e.g. energy usage) is imported

Project planning overview

• Create the 3D module layout
• Enter tariffs and energy consumption
• Select key technical components (inverter, battery storage, etc.)
• Finalise the Bill of Materials with accessories and installation services

Generate PDF quotation

• Select a document template (e.g. a sample offer)
• Adjust the 3D layout camera angle for the PDF
• Review the preview
• Generate and download the PDF

Create project variants

• Duplicate completed variants to quickly produce comparison offers (e.g. different system sizes)
• For each variant, specify active technologies (battery storage, e‑mobility, etc.)

• Sunpath diagram
